Yes, go Fawsiya go! That’s exactly how I got started as well. After a few non-starters I got the courage to share and now my inspiration is at all all time high rushing forth like a flooded river finding cracks and crevices wherever it can fill up and keep moving further and further out into the open space.
I wrote 7 posts just yesterday. Two between last night and now that I haven’t yet gotten the time to post. Can’t wait what you can bring to the plate for us. U go girl! I love what you shared!
Your words carry a quiet courage. In a world that often looks past the weight of chronic illness, your choice to create and share is powerful. That small moment of storytelling and imagination feels like a kind of magic. It brings something new into the world.
There’s a calm strength in what you’ve written. Even in the hard spaces, you offer something beautiful. I’m grateful for that. And for you.
Thank you. I think this is a quality that lots of people carry, often they aren't even aware of it. Then someone holds up a mirror and you see it. I hope I can become that mirror just in the same way others were for me.
Thank you, Joy can only be made with other people around you. You do for others, you care for others and they care for you too. My perspective is that you can't find your joy without knowing pain. Without it how can you be sure of what you have?
Thank you for sharing your story and your journey.
What is Joy
I ask this every day because it eludes me
When will I have it?
Now, is it just the absence of pain?
Is it that quiet that comes when the horrors don’t scream?
Is it the unfolding of my life before me?
I can see others around me, quiet, oblivious
Except for those few, with eyes that tear
They feel our pain; they sense the fragility
Perhaps joy is being seen
Having community
Finding our people
Welcome home, sister.
